Why do I need it?

Ask yourself… What would happen to you and your family if you fell ill or had to take time off work? What if through no fault of your own, you were made redundant or you became unemployed as a result of your business failing?

Not a nice thought but it does happen*:

• In 2005 there were over 141,000 people claiming Disability Benefit or Allowance.
• Over 128,000 people claim Unemployment Supports each year.

• Each year there are over 19,000 new cancer cases.

Who would pay the mortgage, and the household bills? You can forget holidays, the children's treats and any new things around the house. Money may become very scarce and life would become very tough indeed.
